Welcome!!

Hi! I am beyond excited to be starting a blog to share all of my experiences with you as a first year teacher! I am constantly posting to my Instagram, which I'm sure some of my followers have gotten annoyed with by now. Hopefully with the use of this blog, some of my fun teaching pictures, experiences, and news can be uploaded to here more often than to my Instagram and spare my followers from too many Miss C posts! 
I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to teach in an urban setting, but I wasn't sure if I would go the special education or the elementary education route. As time went on and graduation slowly started creeping up on me I was offered an interview in my dream city to work in. (I'm going to keep this blog from giving away information about my school or students.) After two rounds of interviews I was offered the position, and only A WEEK before graduation. Here I am, three and a half months into my career (wow that sounds weird...career...yikes) and I have decided to start sharing my experiences with the blogging world! It is not all fun and laughs, I will assure you of that. Amazing and HORRIFYING...I have seen some on both sides so far. With that being said, let's do this! I hope you enjoy! xoxo Nicole
